Business pages nobody has claimed yet
We build these from public business details in Overture Maps open data, with street maps and suburb names from OpenStreetMap. They hold the business name, type, area, street address, phone number and website where one is known. We then read the business's own website, or its public booking profile, to check it's live and shows the same number, and we show that proof on the page. We don't take emails, photos, reviews or wording from any of those sources. Each page shows which steps the owner hasn't confirmed yet.
If this is your business and you don't want a page, use the Remove link at the bottom of it, and we won't add it again. If you run it and want to correct it, claim it for free.
When you claim or add a business
We keep your name and email, your business details, the date you agreed to our terms, and what you add to your page. We use them to run your page, send you customer requests and tell you about your service. You can ask us to stop or remove your page at any time.
When you send a request
Your name, number and message go to the businesses named on the screen, and to nobody else, so they can contact you about that job. We delete requests after a year.
When you leave a review
Your name and review show on the page. Your email doesn't, and we only use it if we need to check the review.
Counting visits
We count how many people look at a page and tap its buttons, without recording who they were. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to understand how the site is used overall.
If you use your location
Nothing happens unless you tap Use my location and your phone or browser asks you first. Your rough position is sent to our site only to find the closest businesses. We don't save it or put it in a web address, and your browser forgets it when you close the tab.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. If you're unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
